Meet Dr. Rick
Dr. Rick Laguatan
Dr. Rick Laguatan, known as Dr. Rick, has been practicing dentistry for 34 years and is the proud owner of Yorkville Family Dental. Born in Chicago and raised in the western suburbs, Dr. Rick completed his undergraduate biology degree at Loyola University of Chicago before earning his dental degree at the UIC College of Dentistry.
Opening a dental office in a suburban community allowed Dr. Rick to focus on providing great oral healthcare while hiring the best staff and utilizing the latest technology. His passion lies in blending science and art to improve lives by relieving pain and boosting confidence through smile transformations. Dr. Rick also enjoys the problem-solving aspect of dentistry and values the autonomy it provides, as well as the meaningful relationships he builds with patients.
Patients trust Dr. Rick for his compassionate care and expertise in treatments like crowns, clear aligners, implant restorations, and white fillings. His commitment to dental excellence ensures that each patient receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs and goals.
When he’s not at the office, Dr. Rick enjoys spending time with his wife Mary and their 17-year-old son in Lisle. He’s an avid golfer, a passionate pickleball player, and a fitness enthusiast who embodies the healthy lifestyle he promotes to his patients.
